We are thrilled to share some heartwarming news from Port Orchard Parrot Rescue & Sanctuary. Jake the Budgie, one of the delightful flock of 11 budgies featured in “Budgie Bonanza,” has officially found his forever home with Leslie P.
Jake’s journey has been one of resilience and charm. His playful personality and vibrant feathers caught Leslie’s eye, and it didn’t take long for the two to form a bond. Jake now enjoys a spacious aviary, plenty of stimulating toys, and a companion who adores his chirps and antics.
Thanks to wonderful supporters like Leslie, the number of budgies awaiting new homes at the rescue has now dropped to seven. Among them are three bonded pairs and one spirited single budgie still hoping to find the perfect family. Each of these birds brings a unique personality and the potential to light up a household.
