Thank you for shopping at Port Orchard Parrots. If you’re not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re not satisfied either. We’re here to help!
Any product (other than opened food products) – whether bought in the store or directly from Port Orchard Parrots online – may be returned within seven (7) days of receipt of the product.
Please note that some of our online products are sold by external vendors and are subject to their return policies. Please read carefully when buying from external vendors.
You may choose a refund of your purchase price or replacement with another product. We ask only that you return the product in the same condition in which you received it, including the original packaging (if any). There are no other conditions for returns.
You may cancel any paid order that you place with Port Orchard Parrots Plus that has not already sent to shipping. Once your order is displays a status of “Processing” it may no longer be cancelled. Orders may be cancelled by visiting your Account page and clicking the “Cancel Request” button displayed next to your order. If there is no “Cancel Request” button that means the order has already been sent to shipping and may no longer be cancelled.
Special orders/backorders may only be cancelled prior to fulfillment by our supplier(s). Once we place an order with our supplier(s) you may no longer cancel or return the items ordered without our prior consent and/or the consent of our supplier(s). Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or return a special order/backorder. Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee (25% if set by us or at the discretion of the supplier(s) if set by them).
Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Please contact the shipper of your choice for instructions on how to prepare your shipment. Our return shipping address is Port Orchard Parrots Plus, 595 Bethel Avenue, Port Orchard WA 98366. Please include a copy of your original receipt inside the shipment so that we know who to credit when we receive it.
Payment Processor Fees
As a convenience to our customers, Port Orchard Parrots Plus accepts a variety of payment methods, including credit cards, branded debit cards (processed as credit transactions), and PayPal. When payments are processed the companies that process them charge us a fee (usually between 2-4% of the total purchase including taxes and shipping charges). Unfortunately these fees are not refunded when we refund payment to a customer. For this reason Port Orchard Parrots Plus will only refund the amount we actually received from the payment processor (which is the amount you paid less the fee they charged us).
If you received a damaged product, please let us know right away. Occasionally items are damaged in-transit and we need to file a claim with the shipper for the damage. We will handle all claims however the shipper may require that they be allowed to see the damage (at your location) prior to honoring the claim. Please cooperate with the shipper as much as you can and let us know if you encounter any problems.
We will refund or replace (your choice) any damaged item that you receive. In order to receive a refund or replacement, we may (in some cases) ask that you return the item to us (see the “Shipping Charges” section above for more information) once the shipper has completed their claim review. If the shipper acknowledges responsibility for the damage, they may (on rare occasions) require possession of the item. Again, please cooperate with the shipper and we will handle the rest.
